PM Prachanda’s India Visit:
New Delhi: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ who is on a visit to India, has said that after meeting alone with his counterpart Narendra Modi three times, there has been a comfortable environment in many respects.
PM Prachanda said that although the situation seems to be deteriorating, it is the beginning of something very good and big.
In a conversation with some editors in New Delhi on Friday, Prime Minister Prachanda said, “I had a one-on-one meeting with Modi for three times, yesterday. That meetings drive us to an easy environment. Otherwise, things seemed to go wrong. A very good and big thing has started now.”
He said that it was important that Modi spoke for the first time about solving the border problem. “It is important that Modi spoke about the border problem for the first time. I emphasised it from the beginning,” he said.
A delegation led by Prime Minister Prachanda came to New Delhi on May 31 for a four-day visit to India. Prime Minister Prachanda had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Draupadi Murmu, and others on June 1.
During the meeting with Prime Minister Modi, seven different agreements were signed between Nepal and India. The concerned parties claim that the agreement reached in the energy and transportation sector is historic.
He is scheduled to go to Indore in Madhya Pradesh today and return home on Saturday.
